The Late Mother Tetee Hilton Sunrise January 14, 1942 & Sunset October 16, 2011. She was African United Methodist Church (AUMC) Indigenous Choir Directress and Bible Teacher 1996-2011. AUMC Mother of the Year 2002 Original Member and Choir Directress of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Keyhole, Old Road Sinkor, Liberia She had a deep and sympathic concern for her choir members, and all God’s children. She was the reason why the African Indigenous Choir was organized at the African United Methodist Church in 1996 and the official directress of the choir up to her untimely passing on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 2:15pm at the Helen Fuld Hospital in Trento, New Jersey after a brief illness. The late Mother Tetee Hilton was born on January 14, 1942 in Little Cola, District Number Four, Grand Bassa County, Liberia, and West Africa. The Wake-keeping and Funeral services of the Late Mother Tetee Hilton will be held at the African United. Methodist Church, 1201 Greenwood Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08609 as follows:Wake-Keeping & Funeral Service Brothers and Sisters in Christ: The AUMC Indigenous Choir Fast and Prayer Ministry and the African United Methodist Church Family announce with profound sorrow he untimely passing of our dear Mother, Indigenous Choir Directress and Bible Teacher of the Ministry, Mother Tetee Hilton, which sad event occurred on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Helen Fuld Hospital, Trenton, NJ after a brief illness.
The body of the deceased will be flown to Liberia on November 22, 2011. Friday, November 18, 2011 and Saturday, November 19, 2011. Time: 9:00pm - Time: 9:00AM The Indigenous Choir Fast & Prayer Ministry and the AUMC Family cordially invite you and members of your family to celebrate with us the Home-Going of our dear Mother and Choir Directress of the Indigenous Choir during her transition from labor to reward. We will be grateful for your telephone calls, cards, words of encouragement and interactions with family members during visitations to the home of the deceased at 30 Wiley Street, Trenton, NJ where daily evening service is being conducted.
